Comfortably Numb!

Sent By: Ginger loon.

Although not technically a post card, the ever inventive Ginger loon has sent an interesting item via the post...

this Beer mat comes from the Bull & BUsh Pub ( Hotel).

Loon has this to say on his beer-post-card...

Everthing on this postcard is true!! the restaurant even has deep fried camenbert!!
Co-ords for the Bull and bush are S:33'45.709 E:150'59.550.
Regards from sunny Balkham hills.

I guess with a GPS there is no need for "show me the way to go home!" to be sung on the way home from this post card!

My First "by night" card!

Sent By: Wyoming Wombats.
a view of Wyoming By night.
the Wombats have modified it to say "all the time"

I am amazed to see there is actually a post card of Wyoming, a suburb of Gosford NSW.

I also wonder just how many of these "By Night" cards I might get.

What-fer brains?...Oh, that's ok then...

Sent By: Shifter-brains.
this card is of the blue mountains west of Sydney.
the pictures are:
Scenic Railway, A statue of a horse, the Skyway at Katoomba, the Three Sisters( monotilhs) , a walkway through some unidentified tree area, a bird with a red hood, and a waterfall... LOL

The card does not name any of the locations so I had to guess at some of them.

The Shifty Shifters had this to say:
Thought we would send you a post card on the way back from our Caching weekend . Stopped to admire the views and find a cache or 3. Quite a successful weekend with 40 finds so far ( the weekend is not over yet!).. S33'43.964 E150'18.882 ( the cache location from the centre photo)

What is this all about?

If you're not one of the Geocaching fraternity, or perhaps not familliar with the Geocaching Australia website (GCA) ( http://www.geocaching.com.au) You may be wondering what all this is about...

Geocaching is a really cool fun activity, and this blog is part of a cache you can do without doing a "traditional style" cache.
GCA will allow you to post unusual format caches and this one is one of them
The only requirment to "score a find" for this one is to send me a post card of your favorite local view.
to find the postal addrress, go tothe listing page at http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga0311
and answer the 4 questions there. then post the card off, thats all there is to it..

Oh if you want me to return the favour please ask for this on the postcardBy puttin R.S.V.P.
on it.
Also if you want to subscribe me to any catalogs or junk mailings, to the same address then thats fine with me too. I'm a junk mail junkie!

My Name Is...

Grank sent this one in:
It's from Gosford, on the scenic Central Coast of NSW.
the images show Iguana Joes Restaruant ( top), Central Coast stadium ( bl) and A view of Gosfrod from a lookout that has a cache hidden nearby. ( br)

Grank only had this to say: S33'25.450 E151'20.525.
thanks Grank.
