Now this is the edge...The bottom edge!

Well this Isn't quite a Geocaching post card, but when else am I going to brag about getting a postcard from Antarctica?

My Mother In Law, the most intrepid explorer in our family, recently visited the Only continent she had not been to. She sent this card from the Chile Antarctic base, one of 3 stops on the ice they had whilst visiting.
She knew I liked stamp collecting and thought that it would be a pretty unique postmark to have in the collection.
I have included the reverse, to show the post mark and prove it wasn't a faked image.
thanks Mum!
( Now all I need to do is convince her to take a geocache and GPSr with her on her journeys!)

Ah Glenelg! A palindrome you can live in.

This card is from Richary,
it show some views of Glenelg in SA.

They write:
Glenelg was my home until recently - now I am on the other side of adelaide - But i doubt they have postcards for here,as it is middle class suburbia and not touristy.
P.S. I used to live in Narara ( pre geocaching)

Excelent card Richary

Allow me to introduce my cousin...

This rather amusing card comes from the Cheesy pigs!

They write:
Saw this , could not resist.
coords S 42'53.161 E 147'19.829
Cheers Cheesy pigs.

I'm guessing the Cp's originate from somewhere south of Bass straight!
good one guys!

Hobart in Summer?

This one is from Snuva...

Dear Pesky Monkey,
This view of Hobart was taken from close-ish to S 42'51.438 E 147' 21.683 ( bugbears treasure)
I started Marking all the caches in the view but realised it would look like Hobart was covered in snow...

the view is of the city of Hobart and that big bridge( Tasman), with Mt. Wellington in the background.
Nice one Snuva!

Advertising for what?

This one's from The Spruce Mooses ( Meece?)

they had this to say:
Dear Pesky,
Aparently Albert Park ( VIC) is not worthy of its own Postcard, So I had to go for an advvertising one from the local cafe. This was the most amusing . Happy Caching and thanks for our first GCA cache find.

I still dont know what it's advertising! the phrase coming from the chickens mouth is "I dig french chicks" Ideas anyone?
