Hi Pesky, We struggled to find a postcard of our local area. It once was a holiday destination. you could catch a tram to Pittwater, then a coach down to the Beach, now its a crowded suburb with some ugly unit blocks, but excelent places to eat by the sea. The painter should have turned his easel around and painted the beac furnther north to long reef. that would have been a pretty post card.

Looks to me like an oilspill has washed ashore and has got a few kids stuck in it!

It's the pointy bit!

Maverick 4x4 ( a very New Geocacher) sent me this image, in place of a post card, as there aren't many tourist places up there, or post offices for that matter. (If you don't believe him, google earth the co-ords!) Google Sattelite Map

The image, so he tells me, is of the back of the sign that is on the high tide line of the tip of Cape York. He claims to have gotten his feet weyt taking the image.
Lucky he didnt get bit by a Saltie!.

Thanks Maverick , welcome aboard we are glad to have you as ONE OF US...ONE OF US

It s interesting tht they show the back of the statue . Is it so you get a city view, or is the front side really too ugly?

Queenstown , NewZelands x-sports hub.

The C.O.D. Team handed this one overat a recent event, saved them the postage costs.

You asked for postcards , but since we live in the same area I thought I'd go on holidays before i sent you one, so it could be from somewhere else.

The caching is spectacular here, we've already met another cacher "kiwilegend". I'll tell you more when we get backabout the caching.

this months contender for the 'Biggest yawn ' award
